Jill Selman
Front Office Coordinator
Background & Experience
I received my Associate of General Studies from Mt Hood Community College while pursuing a degree in Anthropology from Portland State University. I have had a dual work life of caregiving and corporate America. I have been a professional caregiver for more than 26 years including as a licensed Resident Manager for several Adult Foster Care homes specializing in medically fragile, brain-injured residents. I specialized in managing difficult behaviors and taught classes at conferences and to state employees. I have also worked in a wide variety of positions from Office Manager to Executive Assistant to Vice President of a large national corporation. Before coming to Greater Good Health I was the Community Coordinator for Charter College.
Interests
I love to travel and weekend road trips are the best. I do quite a bit of volunteer work with the SEIU Caregivers Union and political campaigns. I love to sew and craft in my free time.
Fun Fact
I love to write. I completed a novel, but my computer crashed losing the electronic copy, then the only paper copy was lost in a house fire before I could transfer it to the computer.
