Background & Experience
In 2002, I graduated from Great Basin College with my associate degree in nursing and worked as an RN in rural Nevada for approximately 5 years. Then in 2006, my family and I moved to the Billings area and I worked at a local hospital for nearly 18 years. In 2016, I studied at Western Governors University where I earned a Baccalaureate degree and a Master’s degree in Nursing Education. Then I studied at South University out of Savannah, Georgia and earned my post master’s degree for Primary Care Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. I graduated in 2021. I’ve worked in occupational health at Exxon. Then I went back to a job in Nevada for a period of time. I was the sole primary care provider for a rural skilled nursing facility, where I really learned to love the geriatric population since then have become a huge advocate for the aging population.
