Tami Mellinger, NP

Background & Experience I’m a Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 30 years of experience caring for patients and supporting healthcare teams here in Montana. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in many areas of medicine, including primary care, neurology, pain management, memory care, and telehealth. What has guided me throughout my career is a passion for helping people live healthier, more fulfilling lives and making healthcare safer and easier to navigate. I’ve led programs to improve patient safety, coordinated care for people with complex health needs, and taught future nurses through my work in higher education. Today, my focus is on building strong, trusting relationships with my patients and supporting teams in delivering compassionate, high-quality care. I’m currently pursuing my PhD in Nursing, and I believe that teamwork and evidence-based practices are the keys to improving health and wellbeing in our community.
